Gurriers

Just off the back of their debut album ‘Come and See’, Gurriers are one of the most exciting bands on the circuit right now. Their album examines the significance of those lives in the early 21st century, addressing issues like modern disenfranchisement, friends leaving, the rise of the far right, and the damaging impact of social media, all set to Gurriers’ high-energy postpunk soundtrack. After boycotting SXSW in 2024 in solidarity with Palestine, the band didn’t have the chance to showcase their talents in Austin—but all of that is set to change next week.
